Still remember my previous post about the celebration or the festival of Hiroshima University? Well, the festival is not only about food and performances, but there were also various exhibitions of different societies or clubs in the campus. After filling our tummy (which we spent 1300 yen!) we went to have a look at the exhibitions. We only went for ‘a look/looks’ as we can’t read them anyway. ;p
They actually have this stamping hunt, where u collect stamps from every exhibition station, after you completed the chart, you can go to the counter outside there to try your luck by rolling a wheel with balls inside, the numbers on the balls will determine the gifts you would redeem.
I wanted to collect the stamps initially, but gave up as they actually require you to fill in some evaluation forms or questionnaires at each station. We can’t read a thing lar. So we just walk around only.
There’s this exhibition of paintings, comics, railway research, calligraphy, computer games, etc etc... Just a few picture of the stations we visited. We didn't take picture at every station though.
There weren't many paintings in the painting exhibition hall, but there were a few which I thought is a nice one... especially the little girl with cat. I guess you know why ;)
I like the chinese calligraphy they exhibited, or I should say the kanji calligraphy. You actually would find a big part of the Japanese culture is very ''Chinese''. They also have this zodiac calendar like Chinese.
I'm not into these stuff and my calligraphy is extremely BAD (what a shame #^o^#), but it's always fun to snap photos. hehe.
There were papers for visitors to perform their talent in writing the calligraphy. We didn't try, of course I don't wanna let others know how bad my writing could be!
Alvin caught this shot of a lady (who is no longer young in age) writing this two words -- if you can read them -- naive. Can you catch what I'm trying to say? ;p
Hmm... can you understand the art of this writing?
Just to let you all know that finally we have internet connection at home last night. They have came to install for us, now I can access internet anytime as long as I'm at home. HooooRaaaay~!
