we had our first breakfast at home, a simple but nice one. just the roasted bread, with some majerine on it and a cup of oat. I can tell you, food here is much better than what we have in M’sia. even the cheapest bread and majerine. of course, you pay more.

We bought our cell phones, taking the prepaid line here as the postpaid line will require you to sign a 2 years contract and it’s not cheap. The prepaid phone is cheap, only around RM150 for the phone alone (it comes with the cell phone number in the phone) and you just need to reload it every 2 months with 3000 yen. Then why people still go for the postpaid cell phones?
- You have plenty and plenty of choices for the cell phones while prepaid phones only have 3 choices. --- by the way, we chose a flip phone. :)
- The postpaid phones are those good ones with camera etc. prepaid, none.
- You can access internet with postpaid cell phone, not the prepaid phone.
There should be lots of other reasons but that’s what I understand only.
Today we were left to settle the rest of the things ourselves after buying the cell phone, so we started to walk quite a lot, which at the end of the day, my legs pain. huhuhu… walking to the YouMeTown takes about 25-30minutes I think. we went quite a few places then.
We found a few Mac D here, seems to be more popular than KFC, but the price is at least a double of those we can get back in M’sia. Cost you about RM30 for a set meal. But they have pork burger~ that’s what we never find in M’sia. Maybe we should try once before going back. :)
Prof Okuda brought us to a buffet dinner tonight, where the food here is Halal and quite similar to Malaysian food. it’s nice, and the point here is, it’s cheap! normally if this kind of buffet in M’sia sure cost you RM20 and above or even more, and this one, it’s 700 yen per person, which is about RM21, we consider it as very cheap. It’s buffet you know~ we had lunch of at least 1000 yen and now u can get a buffet dinner at 700 only. But then, there’s only a few choices and they don’t seems to refill the food. I wanted to have more cakes but there’s no more.
